Afraid of Death?

I read this entry on death and it made me think about death. What happens? I had similar thoughts to the person that wrote this. I thought about becoming a devoted Christian but then I stopped thinking about death but not to long ago I started thinking again and I got scared and needed someone to relate with. So naturally, I Googled: I’m scared of dying what do I do? and it really does help to know someone else is thinking what you are.

Why does everybody tie their shoes the same way? There is no easy way or a fancy way. Everybody ties shoes the same way. It becomes a problem for younger children that don’t know how to tie shoes because they can’t tie shoes their way. Only the right way.

In fact these days they don’t even have an extra man to pick up the garbage cans and put them in the back of the truck. Now the trucks have this arm, with two… two hands, that come and grab these big garbage cans. The big black garbage bins, then they are placed on this… this conveyer which lifts it up to the top of the truck and when it reaches the top of the loop, it dumps the garbage into the truck and brings it back down.

What We Take for Granted

I thought about this when the other day someone asked me to think about what I take for granted and take time to appreciate it.

Have you ever thought about if there were to be a nuclear holocaust later in the day when you are getting out of bed? What about if a plane crashed into your house? Or how about if your friend were to be struck by lightning and die? You would be so surprised you wouldn’t be able to think. It happens to soldiers in the military too. One minuet they are driving down a road. And then they hit a land mine and the person that you were just telling a joke is dead. It could give you mental problems. At first you would just be shocked but then, you would be sad. And that is why you should think about what you have and even if everybody else has the same thing and you don’t think it’s special take time to appreciate it.
